Cuboid I made

Mrs Raj taught us how to measure and make a net to create a 3 dimensional shape.

I made a cuboid.

My cuboid has 6 faces,12 edges, 8 vertices. I made this 3D box.

Boxes are made to hold or store things. Boxes are used for packaging.

I love learning about 3D shapes and creating one with Mrs Raj, she is fun.

The son and son’s wife were kind to the old man
dissagree	because the the boy was taking care of  the old man.

The old man was very healthy
dissagree	because they didet give him some more food.

The parents were good role models for their son
agree	because the little boy said to the mum and dad i'm making a pig’s trough for you when you are old.

It is important to care for our elders.
agree	because you might not get looked after when you're old.

Glenbrae science week trem2 week 10 2015

science Week, Tuesday. 2015

 Last week, Glenbrae school had science week. On Wednesday Room 7 went to Room 10. The first thing we did was get into groups. In the groups we got ¼ of an apple and pick which drink liquid would keep the apple from going rotten. The options were vinegar, L & P, and sprite. Our group chose vinegar because we might of used it the real ingredient was vinegar because we tried it and when we lifted it it did it turn brown. and the next step was making and you can chose  l & p, vinegar,sprite, and all group chosen sprite and the leader was Trent and then Mrs Tofa used to mix the flour and Salesi rolled it and when he finished Mrs Card and Mrs Tofa cut it and then we put it on the tray and then Mrs Card baked it and she went dawn to the staff room and she stayed there and after morning tea it was done and we taste it and it was nice and me Loto had the biggest croissant then the others.

I felt happy because we get to  eat our croissant in room 10.   

My road show!

Today Glen brae  school had our inquiry road show. This  is when all  the classes share what they have learned during the term   by creating presentations, posters, diagrams and hands-on activities. I enjoyed learning about Abel Tasman and we all had fun  making our presenetation. I enjoyed all of them.

We went to Butterfly Creek

WALT: write a recount using connectives and descriptive language. 
This is my recount of Butterfly Creek. I found it hard to sit down and write it. Next time I will sit down and never walk around and talk. 


Butterfly Creek - By Simeon 

We went to butterfly creek on Monday the 16th of March. Room 7 and 5 went on the bus we went to butterfly creek to learn about butterflies and dinosaurs, crocodiles, and different creatures. 
And we went on the train, on the train everybody was screaming. We went around in circles. 

After lunch, in the crocodile show, Paul's friend grabbed meat and made the crocodile come and eat it. I felt scared because I thought the man was going to get eaten.
